Here is the beginning of a Spiritual fight against “the lies of
this World” – the false preachings with their deadly interpretations – the
deadly poison which kills its victims by believing these lies.
The mouths of such
‘Gospellers’ are the open sepulcher which swallow their dead. Their venomous
preaching began with the freedom to interpret God’s Word according to the
intellect of man’s understanding which implies that God is dependent on them
for others to understand His Word – which is an outrageous impossibility. This is the great
fall of the Church now with a
few remaining as remnants – those are the ones who remain standing in the power
of the Holy Spirit. They are the few faithful ones in the Word – these are the
ones who have rejected the lies but continue in their repentance and faith. Not
anymore will it ever be the visible church but the one invisible.
The equipment used to
propagate the lies is the breaking up of God’s Word into individual verses –
considering some as more important than others thus enabling themselves to
relate the Word to their fleshy desires.
This is the great bug in human interpretation, the relating of
scriptures to our earthly existence instead of the conviction of our Sins and
revealing God’s means of escape through the power of Grace (Salvation.)
How does the Word work?
The Word begins with our conviction;
i) The importance of authors or the
writers even that of the apostles completely disappears and what remains is
God’s utterance.
ii) The
whole meaning of the Word comes out only in consideration of the whole chapter
not individual separate verses.
iii) Jesus
and His Word belong together and cannot be separated.
iv) His
work and the Word are the scriptures which starts from the first Book of
Genesis to the last Book of Revelation. And the whole scriptures is the whole
Law and the Gospel for our conviction so that we sinners may be saved by the
Gospel – the Power of Grace. So the Word is the Law and The Gospel.
v) The
experience of the power of grace which results from penitence and faith is the
gift of the New Life – the Spiritual Power – the greatest gift to mankind.
Each chapter of the scriptures opens the door for us sinners; to
see the blessedness and God’s love for mankind. And on this great new journey
of human life we shall start with the chapters of the greatest Epistle to the
Romans.
